Geminars is designed to collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the service.

We do not sell personal data. We do not track users across unrelated websites. We do not harvest data for advertising purposes.

Our goal is to enable meaningful interaction around video content while respecting user privacy.

Geminars does not:

  • Monitor or record video playback outside what is technically required
  • Access or store your external video hosting credentials

  • Notify authors when requested (e.g., “Fetch Author”)

4. Video Content and External Hosting

Geminars does not host videos by default. Videos are hosted externally by authors. Geminars only stores links or references provided by authors.

We do not access, copy, or redistribute video files. Responsibility for video hosting, licensing, and compliance remains with the author.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

Geminars may use:

  • Cookies
  • Session storage
  • Local storage

These are used strictly for: Authentication, Session continuity, Preventing duplicate actions (e.g., likes, fetch requests) and Improving user experience

We do not use cookies for third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal information.

We may share information only in the following limited cases:

  • With service providers who help operate the platform (e.g., hosting, notifications)
