Everyone who registers at Geminars is actually a viewer to begin with. You are also given 100 credits to initiate some engagements. Those viewers who now want to host their own Geminar, can easily do so using their own Dashboard (in which case that person would become an Author) or they can choose to remain as viewers only.

Viewers often do not consume their credits at Geminars. But there would be some Geminars where the author may have passed on the costs to the viewer. In those Geminars it would be the viewer who pays for chatting ( each message is charged a tiny amount) Learn more about credits here

Ideally, everyone should install a Notification app on their phone. This is the free “ntfy.sh” app. Available for Androids as well as Apple. Once you install and configure this app, you would get notifications directly on your phone for important events happening on the Geminars where you had sent chat messages.
